Dress Code

So, the job I interviewed for has a pretty strict dress code. How strict? Well, take a look at the photo.

O.k. so I wouldn't be allowed to wear a letter sweater, but I wouldn't be allowed to wear pants!! Yes, girls that means skirts everyday. I went to a private school and it wasn't even that strict. I have so many pants. In fact, I live in pants. I love pants.

I own skirts, but come on, pants are so much better

I wouldn't make a job decision on this, but is anyone offended by women wearing pants?

Thats funny you have to wear skirts, because being such a conservative place you think having women wear pants would be the first choice. I think women in pants is fine as long as they are not bright orange or something. I prefer pants at work myself skirts just don't flatter me :-)

Well, I clearly can't sue them for discrimination since they disclosed the dress code prior to even offering me a job. I wouldn't even want to sue them. They are a wonderful organization who just happen to think skirts are more appropiate. Of course, I prefer pants (as previously stated), but I wouldn't base an employment decision on that.

Well, d-modd I do think that a skirt would be flattering to you at work especially in the line of work you are in. You may get some strange looks, but I am sure you also may get some new clients.

My suggestion is a bright orange skirt to compliment your muscle-t!

Oh Rob, you make me laugh!! It reminds me of how you don't allow your wife to have any outside contact with the work world.
I miss our funny conversations!
