Well kids, it has finally happened! I am now returning to the ranks of the employed and it feels great. I will miss sleeping in until 10 or 11 and spending all that extra time with Rocky, but I won't miss the boredom or the creepy library people.
I start the new job on Monday and will be working 32 hours, so I will still have one "free" day. The unemployment lasted about 2 mths, but in some ways it seems so much longer than that.
Anyway, I am excited to start the new job and to join the working class once more.

Thanks for the congrats. I am so excited. It will be working for a local non-profit 32 hours a week and making more than at my last job. Also, 32 hours means I will get benefits.
I start Monday and my new boss is great and was so complimentary. She told me all the good things people said about me-it was such a confidence boost!
